Plugin Arch Cut (m159) can be used for creating a round arc operation on a beam which can be performed on wood framing machines such as Hundegger or machines using BTL files.

 

NOTE: Do not explode the operation if you want to use it for machine export.

Before you start

Create a profile.

Selection order

  1. Pick the side, the operation is created.

Use this tab to define the operation details.

Option Description
Offset type

The options are:

● Start

● Middle

● End

With this parameter you can define the start position. A distance parameter (in the figure the field with the value 100) is linked to this parameter which moves according to the selection.

Arc definition

The options are:

● By chord length, the length of the operation measured along the profile.

● By arc radius, the radius of the arc.

With this parameter we indicate which method will be used to define the dimensions of the arc. A parameter (in the figure the field with the value 500) is linked to this parameter which moves according to the selection.

Reference side

Select a box on 1 of the sides to define on which side the processing should be positioned.

Depth

Defines the depth of the machining relative to the selected face.
