Use for

Before you start

Ensure that you have two points to pick.

Selection order

1. Pick the beam start point.
2. Pick the beam end point.
The beam is created automatically when you pick the end point.

Picture tab

Use the "Picture" tab to define the dimensions of the beam.

Option	Description
1	Slope of the flange, next 3 units can be used: • mm (distance) • ° (degrees) • % (percentage)
2	Height of the flange sides.
3	Height of the beam from the bottom to the highest edge.
4	Width of the flange from the side to the web.
5	Width of the flange taper.
6	Distance between the bottom web edge and the flange side plane.
7	Thickness of the flange slab.
8	Width of the flange.
9	Width of the web.

Parameters tab

Use the "Parameters" tab to define the beam parameters.

Option	Description
Name	Beam name.
Material	Material grade.
Class	Beam class number.
Prefix	Numbering prefix for the cast unit .
Start number	Start number for the cast unit.

Chamfers tab

Use the "Chamfers" tab to define and create the line-type chamfers on both sides of the beam along the flange edge.

Option	Description
1	Distance Y of the edge chamfer.
2	Distance X of the edge chamfer.
