The application STEP Extender (ML180) is used to modify STEP files created with the Multi Converter, so the content of the file can be better recognized in various viewers. The PART_POS and ASSEMBLY_POS are written to specific fields in the extended STEP-file.

Tab General
In the General tab the folder path can be defined that contains the STEP files to be modified and the tool can be run.

| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| 1 | Define the path in which the STEP files are placed that should be modified by the STEP Extender (ML180). The 'extended' files will be placed inside this folder in the subfolder 'Extended_files'. |
| 2 | Status bar. |
| 3 | Run the tool. |
