Slab Curved Bars

The Slab curved bars plug-in allows to create the reinforcement in curved slab structures.

How to Locate

'Slab Curved Bars' plugin is available in 'Application and Component' after installation.

 

Usage

Click the icon ‘Slab Curved Bars’ from 'Application and Component'.

Input order

1) Pick object. Select the concrete curved slab.
2) Pick the first set of three points. The picked three points should be on the outer surface of the curved member as shown below.
 

3) Pick one point on other arc. The picked point should be on the outer surface of the curved member as shown below.

 

After appling plug-in the reinforcement is arranged as shown below

Parameters
 

Arrangement Options
This option decide the arrangement of the rebars and has the following options

 Full circle                                                                                Range by first picked points
           

Lap Type
 
This has the following options
1) Lap by stock length
2) Lap by number options. 

Stock length option automatically apply lap if the rebar exceeds the stock lenght.
For lap by number user can difine the number of laps for a rebar.

Creation method
 
This has the following options
1) No.of hoop layers
2) Spacing
By this we can define the number of hoops by number or spacing.

Cover
 
User can define the cover of the reinforcement by choosing the reference from the Bottom of the slab or from the Top of the slab.


Offsets
 
From the above fields user can define lap length, edge offsets and ends offsets. 


Rebar properties
 
Rebar properties can be defined by the above dilog.

Limitations

This Plug-in does not work for circular members which are made with Circular columns.
