You can use the tool Simple plate (m131) to quick and easily create a contour plate:

For best use of the tool, make sure that the command Direct modification
Image
(short key D) is selected.
You can model a plate by picking 2 or 3 points.
2 points: Pick the first and the second point:

3 points: Select the tool in the Applications & components database by clicking on it (1), move to the symbol

of the contextual toolbar to make it appear (2):

Now select the option 3 points and the shape of the plate and pick them in the Tekla Structures model:

Once the plate has been modeled, you can adjust the slab properties in the following ways:
● By clicking once on the icon of the tool, the following dialog box appears:

You can now adjust the shape of the plate and its other properties.
● By double clicking on the symbol
