Reporting (ML112)
Reporting (ML112) generates a saw list of your entire project in Tekla Structures. When there is no automated saw, this sawing list can be used to saw all parts manually. In case of an automated saw, this list can also be used as a checklist.
The tool Codes to profiles (ML052) is used in combination with Reporting (ML112). Before using Reporting (ML112), all profiled parts must be coded with Codes to profiles (ML052), which can be downloaded from Tekla Warehouse.

Create report:
Specify which list is to be generated.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Saw list | By default, the saw list is generated with Saw list. If you have chosen Saw list per assembly and you want to go back to the default, click on Saw list. |
| Saw list per assembly | A saw list is created for each element on a new page. At the top of the page, the assembly number and number are displayed in a green highlighted line. |
| Profile | Displays all profiles that contain a profile code. The profile code is generated with Codes to profiles (ML052). |
| Totals | Generates a total sawing list and also indicates the number of cubic meters. |
| Front cover | Generates only a front cover. |
| Load parts | The selected parts in the model are loaded into the saw list. |
| Create drawings | Generate drawings of profiled parts. |
| Write codes | This is only possible if on the tab Settings > Common > Part coding, Write back beam code, Write back beam dimensions, Write back sheet code and/or Write back sheet dimension are checked. |
Settings tab
In the Settings tab, you can use additional settings regarding the output of the saw list.
Drawings tab
On the Drawings tab you can set the layout of the drawings. This is divided into groups.
In the Common group, we do not recommend changing anything. These are settings that can only be changed for highly specialized printers.
Head group:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Hide head drawings | Hide the header drawings. |
| Head drawings height top | Top of the upper drawing. |
| Head drawings height bottom | Bottom of the lower drawing. |
| Head drawings width | Maximum width of the drawing. |
| Head drawings max angle | The maximum value measured. Example If Max. value of angle measurement is set to 90°, heads with 90° angle will not be measured but heads with 89° angle will be measured. If 360° is set, all angles are measured. |
| Disable equal scaling | Proportions of the image at the top and bottom are equal to each other. If you turn equal scaling off, you can turn it off and get different proportions of the images. |
| Head single angle | Corners that occur more than once are measured in one place. If this angle appears again in the drawing, it is skipped. |
| Top row image | Specify the rotation of the top view image. The options are: ● Top ● Front ● Bottom ● Back |
| Bottom row image | Specify the rotation of the top view image. The options are: ● Top ● Front ● Bottom ● Back |
Sheet group:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Hide sheet drawings | Hide the sheet drawings. |
| Sheet drawing height | Height top drawing. |
| Sheet drawing width | Maximum width of the drawing. |
| Sheet drawing max angle | The maximum value measured. Example If Max. value of angle measurement is set to 90°, heads with 90° angle will not be measured but heads with 89° angle will be measured. If 360° is set, all angles are measured. |
| Sheet single angle | Corners that occur more than once are measured in one place. If this angle appears again in the drawing, it is skipped. |
| Sheet side method | With this method Reporting (ML112) determines the inner and outer side of the plate on the basis of the position of the plate in relation to the element. This is up to 90% reliable. With the most recent versions of the Construsoft Walls and Roofs component, this functionality is no longer applicable. The Z-direction of the slab always points to the outside. |
| Sheet side direction | Specify the direction of the plate side. The options are:
|
Profile group:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Hide profile drawings | Hide the profile drawings. |
| Profile drawing height | Height top drawing. |
| Profile drawing width | Maximum width of the drawing. |
| Profile drawing max angle | The maximum value measured. Example If Max. value of angle measurement is set to 90°, heads with 90° angle will not be measured but heads with 89° angle will be measured. If 360° is set, all angles are measured. |
| Profile single angle | Corners that occur more than once are measured in one place. If this angle appears again in the drawing, it is skipped. |
Orientation group:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Flip Z-axis on | Option to flip the orientation. The options are: ● None: sheets are not flipped. ● Zone < 0: everything smaller than zone 0 (negative value) is flipped. ● Zone > 0: everything bigger than zone 0 (negative value) is flipped. |
Filtering tab
In the Filter tab, set filters for parts that are NOT to be generated in the saw list. Use a ; (dot comma) as the separator.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Sheet name | Name of sheet not to be included in the saw list. |
| Sheet material | Material of sheet not to be included in the saw list. |
| Sheet zone | Zone of sheet not to be included in the saw list. |
