This extension creates shear link between top and bottom rebars in a slab.

Installing Rebar Shear Link
- Download the rebar shear link installer package from Tekla Warehouse. For more information see Downloading an application from Tekla Warehouse.
- Install the file package.
Usage
- Open a Tekla model, model top bars and bottom bars in a slab using either rebar set or rebar group.
- Click the Applications & components button in the side pane to open the Applications & components catalog.
- Search for rebar shear link.
- Click on the component icon
- Pick top bar, pick bottom bar
- The shear link creates based on defaults/ standard attributes.
- Adjust the spacings, change the sizes, hook options as per the requirement from the component window.

Note: If a different hook or hook dimensions required, select the custom hook and change the values. However the allowed angle is in the range of 90°-225°.
