Tab Picture can be used to define how the center of gravity is determined.

Option Description
1

Define the length of the COG profile.

2

Options how to determine the center of gravity (COG). The options are:

● Parts. COG of main part.

● Whole cast unit. COG of cast unit.

● Whole cast unit minus embeds. COG of cast unit minus embeds.

● Assemblies. COG of assembly.

3

The options are:

● Yes.

● No.

4

Extra rotation of COG profile. The options are:

● No.

● Around X.

● Around Y.

Tab Parts can be used to define the properties of the cog profile.

Option Description
1 The profile to be used in COG. Can be a plate but a profile is possible as well.
2

Define how to connect the COG-profile to the part/assembly/cast unit. The options are:

● Cast unit. Cast unit the part to the concrete part.

● Weld. Weld the part to the steel part/assembly.

● Part add. Use option part add to "glue" the COG-profile to the part/assembly/cast unit.

● Sub-assembly. Create the COG-profile as sub-assembly.

● No action. Do nothing, COG-profile is not connected to any part.

3 Rotation, any value can be defined here in order to rotate the COG-profile.
4 A second profile can be created in the COG.
5

Define how to connect the second profile to the first profile. The options are:

● Cast unit. Cast unit the part to the concrete part.

● Weld. Weld the part to the steel part/assembly.

● Part add. Use option part add to "glue" the COG-profile to the part/assembly/cast unit.

● No action. Do nothing, COG-profile is not connected to any part.

6 Rotation of the second profile, any value can be defined here in order to rotate the second COG-profile.
7 Offset of the start point of the second profile.
8 Offset of the end point of the second profile.
9 Also the option to use a custom component part instead of a profile.
Option Description Standard
Profile 1 and 2 Thickness (t) and width (b) of profile 1. Also, the prefix and the start number, material, name, class and comment can be defined.
Pos_No

Prefix and start number for the position number of the plate and in the second row where prefix and start number of the assembly number can be defined. Only used when the gusset plate is not welded.

The default start number of the part is defined in the menu File > Settings > Options.
Material

Material of the gusset plate.

The default material is defined in the File > Settings > Options.
Name The name displayed in drawings and reports.
Class The class (color) of the profile.
Comment Comment displayed in drawings and reports.
