Alignment (DR043)
Tool Alignment (DR043) can be used for aligning texts, (associative) marks, symbols, or dimensions in drawings.

Before you start
Create a column.
Back to topSelection order
1. Open the drawing.
2. Start the tool.
3. Select the texts, (associative) marks, symbols, or dimension lines.
4. Select the desired alignment option from the toolbar.
5. Pick the point in the drawing to position the texts/dimension lines to be aligned.

How to use in combination with text, (associative) marks and symbols
The following situation on the drawing:
1. Start the tool Alignment (DR043), the following dialog box appears:
2. Select the marks to be aligned:
3. Press the button Align Lefts:
4. Click the point to be used for aligning:
After this command, it is also possible to align the marks in vertical direction. The following option can be used:
Again, click a point to be used to align. The result looks like this:
How to use in case of dimension lines
An anchor bolt plan has been dimensioned manually in horizontal direction:
As you can see, the distances between the dimension lines are not equal. Using the tool, you can adjust this.
To run the tool:
1. Double click on the tool Alignment (DR043), the following dialog box appears:
2. Select the dimension lines you want to align:
3. Press the button Make Vertical Spacing:
4. Select a point, on the point the first dimension line will be positioned. A field will pop-up in which the distance between the dimension lines can be defined. The value is scale of the view * the in between distance:
5. Press Enter, the dimension lines are recalculated and replaced on the correct position:
