Purpose and description

Use Neighbor grids and compass marks component to include additional information about the location of an assembly in assembly drawings by indicating the neighboring grids and/or the compass directions in assembly views.

Installing Neighbor grids and compass marks

To install the extension:

Download the Neighbor grids and compass marks installer package from Tekla Warehouse. For more information see Downloading an application from Tekla Warehouse.
Install the file package.

Using Neighbor grids and compass marks

To use the extension:

Open a model..
Open a drawing.
Click the Applications & components button

in the side pane to open the Applications & components catalog.
Search for Neighbor grids and compass marks

and then double-click to open it.
The Neighbor grids and compass marks dialog window will open.

Note: Make sure that the Grid is set on visible.

Enter the desired modification.
Click the Create button.
1. For Neighboring grids option.

For Compass marks option.

For Both options.

Application buttons
