Use the Parameters tab in the Metsec Diagonal Ties Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

| Offset Hole End 1 | This value allows the diagonal tie to be defined a given distance out from the position of the first bolt that was selected. If any value is entered the macro will automatically define a new bolt in the purlin/rail at the offset position and will use this in defining the diagonal tie. When used with side rail support struts a suggested hole offset is 70mm and for the HCS and PJR application, the suggested offset is 100mm. If no value is entered the selected bolt will be used. | The default setting is empty | |
