An Extension for Tekla Structures that creates a Lindapter Hollo-Bolt connection. Lindapter’s range of CE UKCA marked expansion bolts only require installation access to one side of the steel. Suitable for both end-plate and profile-to-profile connections and with three bolt heads available (Hexagonal, Countersunk and Flush Fit), the products are a faster alternative to welding or through-bolting, enabling steelwork contractors to reduce construction time and labour costs.

Notes
- It is important to realise that any modification of the parts to which this macro applies is likely to cause incorrect results in the model. This is because the items created by a macro are not redefined when changes are made to the previously selected members. If it is necessary to change any of the members upon which the macro is dependent then first delete all the parts created by the macro, make the required changes and finally re-apply the macro.
Installing the plugin
Download and install the Lindapter Hollo-Bolt plugin installer package from Tekla Warehouse. For more information see Downloading an application from Tekla Warehouse.
How to use

The component can be used to select multiple layers. Once the required number of layers has been selected, use the middle mouse button (or space bar) to end the selection command, and advance to picking an insertion point.

Properties
Use the Lindapter Hollo-Bolt Properties panel to control how the connecting plates are defined within Tekla Structures.
