Notes
- Any modification of the selected parts will cause this macro to be updated.
- Most of the data required for this macro is fixed by Kingspan and stored in a series of data files supplied with Tekla Structures. Where standard data is not applicable, then certain items can be modified through the Parameters tab of the properties panel, but it is also possible to tailor the data files to individual requirements. This would require assistance from Tekla Structures support.
- Eaves beam and purlin must be parallel.
- Within the macro the cleat to purlin, cleat to eaves beam and the strut can be rotated to avoid clashing with the roof restraint system.
- For roof pitches between -18° to +18° the NB1 eaves beam strut cleat should be used, see Parameters tab.
- For roof pitches between +19° to +45° the NB2 eaves beam strut cleat should be used, see Parameters tab.
