Use the Parameters tab in the Kingspan Panel Joint at Column Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

| Cleat Profile | This specifies the profile to be used for the cleat where the standard manufacturer's cleat is not to be used. That cleat, and its associated data is defined in the data files. To specify an alternative cleat you may either enter the name of any profile stored in the profile database or use a parametric profile to create the required profile for the cleat. | Standard manufacturer's cleat from the data files. | |
| Bolt size (12, 16) | This specifies the diameter in mm to be used for the bolts where the standard manufacturer's size is not to be used. | The default is set to 12. | |
| Cleats are (Bolted, Welded, Workshop Bolts) | This specifies whether the cleat is welded or bolted to the rafter. If the cleat profile is not explicitly given, the standard profile will be used from the data files. | The default is set to Welded. | |
| Cleat length | This defines the length of the cleate from the column. | The default length will be determined appropriately from the model data. | |
| Bolt standard | This sets the bolt standard of bolts to both the primary and secondary members in the joint. | The default setting is 8.8XOX. | |
| Bolt on Cleat Backmark | This sets the distance from the back of the cleat to the bolt in mm. | This value will come from the data files. | Image

| Bend length | This defines the length of the bottom leg of the angle. | The default angle will be determined appropriately from the model data. | |
| Bolts to column (Site, Workshop) | This specifies the type of bolt to use. If you Workshop bolt two items together they will become part of a single assembly. | The default is set to Site. |
