Use the Parameters tab in the Kingspan Eaves Beam to Stanchion Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

| Eaves Cleat is (Welded, Bolted) | This specifies whether the eaves beam cleat should be welded to the stanchion or bolted. If the bolted option is chosen then a plate will be added to the fixing bracket in order to allow a bolted connection to the stanchion. Otherwise the fixing bracket will be welded directly to the stanchion. | The default is set to Welded. | |
| Overhang dim. Gables only | This specifies the overhang dimension for a gable end only. The dimension is measured from the centre of the cleat. | Where a sleeve is defined the purlin will be cut back to the standard manufacturer's end gap and the sleeve/stub will be positioned to the overhang. Otherwise the purlin will be extended to the overhang point. | Image

| Eaves Bolt Standard | This sets the standard for bolts placed to the bottom flange of the eaves beam. | The default setting is 8.8XOX. | |
