The Kingspan Non-Continuous Rail system joint is normally used when the specified column face to cladding distance is less than that possible for the standard purlin/rail joint. The joint can handle flush or recessed sheeting lines. A non-standard cleat, (either angle or tee), is bolted to the column, and bolted to the rail along the standard gauge lines.

Notes

Any modification of the selected parts will cause this joint to be updated
Primary member can be an I section or hot rolled channel
Secondary member must be perpendicular to the primary member and have the same orientation
Multichannel can be ‘toes up’ or inverted
