Select two points in the direction on how you wish to place the Masonite Beams. The yellow handle symbolizes the start point and the purple handle the direction of the component.
Under the tab position the component can be placed in the correct situation.

Settings for the Masonite Beams component
1. Select appropriate setting for the Masonite Beams by choosing the right attribute file in the drop down menu.

2. The picture will show the type of the Masonite Beams after the file has been loaded.
3. Under the tab Product data the user will find information about the chosen masonite beam.

4. Product code, height and weight (kg/m) are generated from the chosen setting.
5. Product weight (kg) and length are taken from the model, depending on how the user has modeled the Masonite Beams. Observe, the weight is a calculated value depending on kg/m in the component, not related to the model on what material the masonite beams has.
6. Fabricator name is related to the report Masonite Beams list as a rule set to only get parts tagged with “Masonite Beams AB”. Part prefix etc. can also be chosen here.

7. You can select to set an own name to the component and choose material from database etc. under the Parameters tab.
8. If you put the drop down menu for Type to Special, the fields opens up and own values can be set in the component.
Use already created attribute files which follows Masonite Beams standard.
L Masonite Beams list
L Masonite Beams list creates a report on all the Masonite Beams components in the model.

Observe, the weight is a calculated value depending on kg/m (data delivered from the manufacturer) in the component, not related to the model on what material the masonite beams has. The report is filtering out only Masonite Beams assemblies in the model, which has “Masonite Beams AB” written as default in the fabricator name field in the component. This means that an L Masonite Beams list report can be created from the whole model without choosing any parts. Do not change the parts in the component manually, because this report uses the component settings.
