Selection order 

  • Activate the component
  • Select a object
  • The objects are created

In the Picture tab page creation of propping inserts and support bars can be defined

Option Description
Socket type

Options: 

  • Manually - set the creation of sockets using dialogs bellow
  • Automatic definition file - set the creation of sockets using external file
Definition file

Select external file for creation of sockets. Active only if Automatic definition file is selected in the Socket type

The ProppingInserts.dat file can be located in any of the folders set in the XS_FIRM, XS_PROJECT or XS_SYSTEM advanced options, or in the model folder. You can use the file to control propping inserts based on the wall length. 

In the ProppingInserts.dat file there are can be used these columns :

  • Length max: setting will be applied to the wall, which length has defined value or lower
  • Number: how many propping inserts will be created
  • Insert component: what kind of component will be inserted
  • Attribute settings: components attribute
  • Direction: these directions are available:

            - 1 point
            - 2 points +x
            - 2 points -x
            - 2 points +y
            - 2 points -y
            - 2 points +z
            - 2 points -z

  • Rotation: these rotation types are available:

            - Default
            - Front
            - Top
            - Back
            - Below

Select which component will be inserted into the model. If selected component has some attributes, they can be selected in the next field

Min. distance to edge: Set minimum distance to the edge
Min. distance to opening: Set minimum distance to opening

Select if support will be created

Angle: Set angle of support

In the Attributes creation tab, there can be defined attributes of the created support bars
