This drawing application is used to arrange linked multi drawing views in a specific way.

 

 

How to locate

The package is available in the Tekla Warehouse After installation, the 'Multi Drawing View Organizer' application is available in the 'Applications & components' side pane of drawing mode.

Usage

Create the necessary cast unit / assembly drawings using the necessary drawing settings. Create the multi drawing. Use the appropriate layouts and templates. Sample drawing settings, layouts, templates etc. are provided with the installation. Link the drawings to multi drawing.

Click the icon in the Applications and Components side pane opens dialog box for multi drawing view organizer.

It has two tabs. One for Beams and another for Columns.

The beam tab is used for arranging beam drawings and its views horizontal and and vertical.

View Height : For all the views the cell height will be the value provided in view height text box.

Main View Width: The width of the cell in which main view is going to fit.

Section View Width: The width of the cell in which the each section view is going to fit.

Alignment: The arrangement type with respect to each cell.

The multi drawing view arrangement template height and widths of the the cells should match with these values. Click on the 'Organize' button. Click the point reference point (left top point) from which the drawings need to get arranged. Check the views are fitting in the appropriate cell as required, if not adjust the scale of the views or adjust the template as required and run again to achieve the desired result.

Column

The column tab is used for arranging column drawings and its views horizontal and and vertical.

View Height : For all the views the cell height will be the value provided in view height text box.

Main Views Width: The width of the cell in which main views are  going to fit.

Section Views Width: The width of the cell in which the section views are going to fit.

Other Views Width: The width of the cell in which other views (the views other than main views and section views) are going to fit.

Alignment: The arrangement type with respect to each cell.

No of main views: These are the number of main views going to fit in side the main view cell. If more main views are there than the number mentioned in the textbox, it will just continue to next cell but overlaps to next cell views and one need to fix this manually. This rule is applicable for other views also.

No of section views: These are the number of section views going to fit in side the section view cell.

No of other views: These are the number of other views going to fit in side the section view cell.

The multi drawing view arrangement template height and widths of the the cells should match with these values. Click on the 'Organize' button. Click the point reference point (left top point) from which the drawings need to get arranged. Check the views are fitting in the appropriate cell as required, if not adjust the scale of the views or adjust the template as required and run again to achieve the desired result.
