Girder side / Casting order

Define girder side, or Casting order. Availability depends on the Insulation option. Number 1 in the pictures represents the shell that is picked as input for the component.

  • For double walls the first two options, tool will automatically change the shells Unitechnik product type UDAs to be Double wall (1st stage) and Double wall (2nd stage)and cretes the girders to the shell that is the Double wall (1st stage). With the last option "By unitechnik UDA" the tool expects that the shells already have the UDA set and will place the girders accordingly. In that case you should not change the girder side if needed from the dropdown options but swap the shell UDAs and re-modify the double wall details component, so the girder sides will change. That is recommended when using a Wall Layout component that defines the UDAs and use the Wall Layout swapper tool to change the girder side.
  • For insulated double walls the tool creates the girder always to the shell that does not have insulation next to it. With the first two options, tool will automatically change the shells Unitechnik product type UDAs to be Thermo wall (1st stage) and Thermo wall (2nd stage) and the number in the picture represents the shell that is 1st stage. With the last option "By unitechnik UDA" the tool expects that the shells already have the UDAs set.
