System component Distance (ML030) serves for the measurement of distances by selection of two points, or profile.
Selection order
1. Open the component.
2. Choose, whether you want to measure the distance of two points or profile.
3. Select the points or the profile.
General tab
In the "General" tab, choose, whether you want to measure the distance of two points or profile.

| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Selected points | Distance: XYZ coordinates for the first/second selected point. Profile: XYZ coordinates for the profile start/end point. |
| Distance and increments | Distance: See the distance and coordinates deltas of the selected points. Profile: See the distance and coordinates deltas of the start point and end point of the profile. |
| Angles | Get the angle in XY plane and angle out of XY plane for the selected points or profile. |
| Distance | Choose the "Distance" button if you want to use the tool for two selected points. |
| Profile | Choose the "Profile" button if you want to use the tool for the profile. After the profile selection, the information about "Assembly position", "Part position", and "Profile" is also displayed in the dialog. |
