Direction of Spring Fixes (Top-> Bottom, Bottom-> Top, Default) | This defines how the spring fixes are fitted. For example, going up the roof top->bottom would cause them to be fitted between the top hole of the first purlin and the bottom hole of the second purlin. | The default direction will be determined appropriately from the roof pitch data to give the standard CMF arrangement for the bay length. | |
| Type of Anti Sag (Anti Sag Ties, Angle Brace, Threaded Rod) | This specifies the type of connecting member to be used for the anti sag. | The default is set to Anti sag Ties. | |
| Rule Type (Standard, Barrelled) | If Standard rule type is selected more restrictive checks will be used to ensure the purlins are aligned correctly. | The default is set to Standard. | |
| Add Offset Hole Pair (No, Yes) | This defines whether to place an extra pair of holes on each purlin connection when an offset value is defined. | The default is set to No. | Image
|
| Offset | This defines where the extra hole is placed. | The default setting is 0. | Image
|
| Number along the bay | This specifies the number of struts to place along the bay (as defined by the two rafters). | This value will come from the data files. | |
| Place Diagonal Tie Wire at | This sets the position where diagonal tie wires will be added. This is writen as a list of bay numbers for example, 1 3 would put diagonal tie wires in the first and third bay (see image). A brace must be placed in the bay that needs a tie wire. | The default behaviour is to not place any tie wires. | Image
|
| General Bolt Grade | This sets the standard for all bolts added by the macro excluding those which may be placed to the web of the eaves beam. | The default setting is 8.8XOX. | |
| Eaves Bolt Standard | This sets the standard for bolts placed to the web of the eaves beam. If this standard specifies countersunk bolts then a suitable packing plate will be added. | The default setting is 8.8XOX. | |
| Group | This defines the class that all parts will be included in. | The default setting is 99. |
