Use the Parameters tab in the CMF Non-Continuous Rail Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

Secondary member cut backThis determines the position to which the end of the secondary members are fitted. If connecting to the column web it is measured from the nearest web of the column. If connecting to the column flange it is measured from the nearest flange face.The default will give a minimum clearance of 5mm from the primary which will be rounded to give a whole value.

Angle Cleat LengthThis sets the the length of the cleat.This value will come from the data files.

Cleat OffsetIf set to 0 the cleat will be defined central to the secondary member. If left empty the values will be calculated from the model. Positive and negative values can be used to offset from the centre.The default setting is Empty. 
Place Cleats on (Above, below)This specifies the positions where cleats are to be applied. The position is determined relative to the secondary that is picked, looking along the secondary and into the joint.The default is set to Above.

Cleats are
(Bolted, Welded)
This specifies whether the cleat is welded or bolted to the rafter. If the cleat profile is not explicitly given in the parts dialogue the standard profile will be used from the data files.The default is set to Welded.
