The CMF Non-Continuous Rail system joint is normally used when the specified column face to cladding distance is less than that possible for the standard purlin/rail joint. The joint can handle flush or recessed sheeting lines. A non-standard cleat, is bolted to the column, and bolted to the rail along the standard gauge lines.

Notes

  • Any modification of the selected parts will cause this joint to be updated
  • Primary member can be an I section or hot rolled channel
  • Secondary member must be perpendicular to the primary member and have the same orientation
  • The rail can be ‘toes up’ or inverted
