Use the Parameters tab in the BW Industries' Mezzanine Floor Connection Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

Free dist Primary to L ProfileThis is used to specify the clearance between the cleats defined in the joint and the primary member.If no value is entered here then the clearance will default to 0.

Secondary member cut backThis determines the position to which the end of the secondary members are fitted, measured from the web of the primary member.The default will give a minimum clearance of 5mm from the primary.

Place Cleats on (Left, Right, Both)This specifies the positions where cleats are to be applied. The position is determined relative to the first secondary that is picked, looking along the secondary and into the joint.The default is set to Left.

MIC Cleat Thickness

This specifies the thickness of the standard cleat.The default setting is 3mm.
