Use the Parameters tab in the BW Industries' Cold Rolled Cleat Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

| Connection Type (Window, Floor) | This was intended to switch between the floor connection and the window trimmer connection, however this has been superceded by BW Mezzanine Floor Connection (139) for floors. Only the Window option is valid. | The default is set to Window. | |||||||
| Free dist Primary to L Profile | This is used to specify the clearance between the cleats defined in the joint and the primary member. | If no value is entered here then the clearance will default to 0. | Image

| Secondary member cut back | This determines the position to which the end of the secondary members are fitted, measured from the extremities of the primary member. | The default will give a minimum clearance of 5mm from the primary which will be rounded to give a whole value when measured from the centre-line of the primary. | Image

| Place Cleats on (Left, Right, Both) | This specifies the positions where cleats are to be applied. The position is determined relative to the first secondary that is picked, looking along the secondary and into the joint. | The default is set to Left. |
