OptionDescription
Bending radius

Bending radius for Pins, Edge bars and Diagonal bars are defined here.

When rebar_database.inp is selected, the radius values defined in Rebar catalog for main bars and tie/stirrup will be used. With the two other options, Main radius and Hook radius input fields become active for user to define the radius values.

When Relative to diameter is selected, the input value is the multiplier of the diameter.

The options are:

  • rebar_database.inp
  • Relative to diameter
  • Bending radius
Detect outside geometry

This setting can be used to configure how part cuts are detected inside the concrete part. Typically this setting is needed when concrete part has recess cuts.

The plane which is used to search for part cuts can be moved with two parameters: Distance in material and Position in plane option menu (Back, Middle, Front). The plane location is visualized if Draw geometry with profiles is set to Yes.

Detect neg. volumeIf a recess cut is applied to the concrete part, you can use Difference in thickness to control if the recess cut should be considered or not.
Draw geometry with profiles

Option to create construction lines to visualize the location of the part cut detection plane. The location can be changed with Distance in material.

The options are:

  • Yes
  • No
Draw axis

Option to visualize component internal coordinate system. If Yes is selected, three small diameter round parts are created at component axis, starting from the origin.

The options are:

  • Yes
  • No
Show ref border number

The number of points on the side indicates reference border number.

The options are:

  • No
  • Pins
  • Edgebars 1
Extra rotation

The tool creates pins, stirrups and edge bars according to the selected axis.

The options are:

  • No
  • Around X
  • Around Y
Ignore cutout classesThe tool ignores parts of concrete objects according to selected classes.
Ignore cutout namesThe tool ignores parts of concrete objects according to selected classes.
Cast unit geometry

Decide whether the pins, stirrups and edge bars should be created in all concrete objects which are part of the cast unit.

The options are:

  • No
  • Yes
