Use the Parameters tab in the Albion Shear Plate to Hip Properties panel to control how the connecting members are defined within Tekla Structures.

| Angle Length | This defines the length of an angle cleat if appropriate angle profile is defined on the Parts tab and Cleat Type is Angle. | The default length will be determined appropriately from the model data. | |
| Cleat Type (Plate, Angle, Tee) |
This specifies which type of cleat is used for the central cleat. | The default is set to Plate. | |
| Clearance cleat/shear 1 | This specifies the distance from the central plate to the cut end of the first purlin. | This value will come from the data files. |

| Clearance cleat/shear 2 | This specifies the distance from the central plate to the cut end of the second purlin. | This value will come from the data files. |

| Cleat Rafter (Default, Welded, Bolted) | This specifies how the central cleat is connected to the rafter. | The default setting is Default and the appropriate behaviour will be determined from the other options. For example, if Cleat Type is Tee then the Default option will bolt the cleat to the rafter. |
