Dome reinforcement extension allows us to create the reinforcement to the dome structures.

Installing Dome Reinforcement
- Download the Dome Reinforcement installer package from Tekla Warehouse. For more information see Downloading an application from Tekla Warehouse.
- Install the file package.
Usage
- Click the Applications & components button in the side pane to open the Applications & components catalog.
- Search for the Dome Reinforcement tool and click on it.
- Select the Dome part to which Rebar will be attached.
- Select 1st the center point of the Dome then 2nd point as the direction along the outer edge of the dome and 3rd point as the height of the dome.
General Tab:

- We can specify Dome thickness, Top and bottom rebar cover.
- Hook Creation with “Yes” a 90-degree hook is created with applied Hook Length.
Top and Bottom Bars Tabs:

- You can Toggle the Top and Bottom bar creation as “Yes” or “No”.
- The primary and secondary bars creation method is by “Number of bars” or “Target spacing” or “Exact spacing” method.
Attributes Tab:

Rebar Prefix, Start Number, Name and class of Top and Bottom bar can be defined under this section.
Notes
- The Center point and Height of the dome point should be orthogonal against the direction point.
- Rebar creation and modification performance depend on the dome size.
