Plug-in Pattern Cut (1.2) Allows you to use a dxf to create cut-outs or overlays.

Before you start
The DXF file must not contain arcs, hatches or splines. Contours must be closed.

Create a contour plate or a panel.
Selection order
- Pick a face (to determine in which plane the cut-out will be created)
- Pick 2 points in the middle of the element's depth to define the direction.
Parameters tab
On the Parameters tab, define the properties of the pattern cut

| Option | Discription |
|---|---|
| Thickness | Cutting thickness In Auto mode, it is based on the thickness of the object. If you disconnect it, you can impose this thickness. |
| Ratio | Scale Ratio In Auto mode, it is based on the two picked points. If you disconnect it, you can impose the ratio. |
| Position in depth | 3 options Middle/Front/Behind to position the depth cut |
| Reverse | This option reverses the cut parts Image

| DXF Select | Selects the target for the dxf file. By default, a Trimble logo dxf is supplied and stored as ..\Environments\common\extensions\PatternCut\ |
| Padding | Distance around logo to keep material |
| Precision | Enhances contour definition |
