Status Sharing: "Changing status of this action is restricted"

Question: Why can't we change the status of an action? Instead the Status Sharing gives an error: "Changing status of this action is restricted".

Answer: The write access to statuses of individual status actions is determined by the email domain (representing the organization) of the user that created the action.

Only users who are members in the Trimble Connect project and have emails of the same domain (e.g. trimble.com) as the user who created the status action are allowed to set statuses - for all other project members the status action is read-only.

Therefore all users of a specific organization should use their work email addresses (not gmail.com etc.) when logging in to Trimble Connect.
