How do I use valid mathematical units that are not currently available in Tedds for Word?
There's a huge number different mathematical units that you may wish to use in your calculations in your Tedds for Word documents. As many of them are not used in any of the standard Tedds calculations, they are not all included within Tedds. However, by using a combination of maths symbols and brackets, you can write most units so that they can be used in your Tedds for Word calculations.
For example, the unit 'kNmm' is not currently available in Tedds for Word in this exact formatting as it is not a particularly standard unit and is not used in any of the standard Tedds calculations. However, it is possible to use this unit in Tedds for Word by writing it as '(kN*mm)'. The brackets and asterisk/multiply symbol are required for this unit to be considered valid by Tedds for Word, but you could then go a step further and set them to be 'Hidden Text' so that they aren't visible when looking at the output or printing.
