In Tekla Model Sharing, the model ownership always belongs to only one organization.

The ownership for a model is defined when a user starts sharing a model. Model ownership is given to the organization to which the user belongs when she starts to share the model.

In case there is a need to change the model ownership later on, please contact Tekla Structures support.

The meaning of the model ownership

Organization administrators (defined in Tekla Online Profile service) can manage all shared models of their own organization by using Management Console for Tekla Model Sharing.

The administrator can, for example, control the access rights (user roles) for all the users in all models owned by their organization.
