Question:
When exporting a drawing to DWG/DXF, on PC1, texts are exported with the same font as in Tekla Structures, but on PC2, they are exported with Arial font.
How to get the texts to use the correct font also on PC2?
What controls the font conversion when in export?

Answer:
Font conversion process when exporting to DWG/DXF:
- Tekla Structures first tries to find font conversion from XS_DXF_FONT_CONVERSION_FILE.
- If that is not found, then it checks if object's font is found from registered fonts in Windows fonts.
- If still not found, then it uses XS_DXF_FONT_NAME.
- If that is empty as well, then it sets the font to arial.ttf.
The solution in this current situation:
In Tekla Structures, a font called Gill Sans MT is used. Open the dxf_fonts.cnv (\Tekla Structures\<version>\Environments\Common\fonts) file using a standard text editor and add the following row:
Gill Sans MT = Gill Sans MT * 1.0 * 1.0
