What happens if my laptop that is running a borrowed license crashes?

If your laptop only needs rebooting, you can use the borrowed license again after rebooting. If your laptop completely breaks down, the license will not be visible anymore in the license borrow tool and therefore will cannot be used anymore. However, the license is not lost and there is no need to be replaced as it will automatically bounce back on the license server when the borrowing period expires.
