Taking Tekla Structures licenses into use

To take your Tekla license server into use, follow the workflow below:

Install Tekla license server Save your Tekla Structures license entitlement certificate Activate Tekla Structures licenses Connect Tekla Structures to the license server

  1. Install Tekla license server

  2. Save your Tekla Structures license entitlement certificate

  3. Activate Tekla Structures licenses

  4. Connect Tekla Structures to the license server

Note:

When you set up the Tekla licensing system, you may also need to configure the firewall settings to be able to connect Tekla Structures to the license server. For more information about configuring the firewall, see Allowing Tekla license server to operate through Windows Firewall.
