- Integration
-
Tekla Structures - if you wish to integrate with Tekla Structures for optimum performance you should install both this release and Tekla Structures 2025 (and the most recent Service Pack for this).
-
Tekla Tedds - for integrated design using Tekla Tedds you should install Tekla Tedds 2025 AND ensure you have installed the latest updates for this. These can be obtained from Trimble Downloads.
-
Tekla Portal Frame and Connection Designer - if you install this release and use Tekla Portal Frame Designer and/or Tekla Connection Designer you should install Tekla Portal Frame Designer 26 and/or Tekla Connection Designer 26 available from Trimble Downloads.
-
Autodesk Revit© - the most recent Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit© 2026 was released in March 2026. For more information about this see the Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit 2026 SP1 Release Notes. The installation for this is available from Trimble Downloads. If you are using Autodesk Revit© 2026, you can install this to perform BIM integration with Tekla Structural Designer.
-
Supported Versions - the other currently supported versions are: Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit 2023© SP2, Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit 2024© SP4 and Tekla Structural Designer Integrator for Autodesk Revit 2025© SP3. Previous Versions and file compatibility - files from all previous versions can be opened in this release, however note that, once saved, they cannot then be opened in a previous release. If you wish to retain this option we therefore recommend using the File > Save As… option to save a copy of the file in the previous release and retain the original.
Product bulletins
The following product bulletins which were first addressed in Tekla Structural Designer 2026 have now also been fixed in Tekla Structural Designer 2025 SP4:
-
[TSD-18825] - Product bulletin PBTSD-2511-1
This issue related to snow loading and the US regional code when the snow load action code was set to ASCE7-22 only. For windward step and parapet or projection drift loads, the drift width was being taken as 8 x (0.75 hd), rather than 8 x hd. This produced unconservative drift load values.
-
[TSD-18160] - Product bulletin PBTSD-2512-1
This issue related to RSA (Response Spectrum Analysis) results determined along the lengths of beams where partially fixed ends had been defined.
-
[TSD-19239] - Product bulletin PBTSD-2603-1
The issue related to the design of beam to column moment connections modeled in Tekla Structural Designer and checked to Eurocodes or BS using Tekla Connection Designer, either within Tekla Structural Designer directly or by export to Tekla Connection Designer. Where the beam connects to the column flange designated as 'Face C', the connection forces were not successfully passed through to the connection design. If no inspection of the connection design output was undertaken, there was the potential for an unconservative connection design status. To fix this issue install Tekla Connection Designer 26.
Enhancements and fixes
As Tekla Structural Designer 2026 is already available and contains a much larger set of fixes and enhancements, this 2025 service pack is limited to a few essential updates for general performance and stability. In addition to the fixes for the product bulletins mentioned above, the other most relevant changes are as follows:
General & modeling
-
[TSD-18674] - Core foundation reactions not included when filtering for sub-structures
It is now possible to include concrete cores in Sub Structures. This happens automatically as soon as any member of the core is included, reaffirming that a concrete core is viewed as a monolithic structure.
This change ultimately enables the reporting of concrete core results (particularly foundation reactions) when filtering report chapters by Sub Structures that include cores.
-
[TSD-18985] - Exception designing from concrete design groups
An exception could be thrown when trying to design concrete members directly from the groups window right clicking a concrete design group and selecting Design Group > Static. This is now fixed.
Interoperability
-
Remoting API Enhancements
There are no enhancements to the Open API in this release. The latest Remoting API version is 25.3.0.
For more information see the Tekla Structural Designer 2025 Open API Release Notes.
Reports and Drawings
-
[TSD-18680] - Core foundation reactions not included in foundation reactions report when filtering for sub-structures
If concrete cores have been included in sub-structures, the reporting of concrete core foundation reactions when filtering the report for sub-structures is now supported.
-
[TSD-18743] - Allow direct export of a report table to Excel
For report tables which are commonly exported, two buttons have been added to the "hover menu" to enable the direct export of the table to Excel, or the copying of the table data to the clipboard.

-
[TSD-7652] - Add Text label option for Pad Base and Pile Cap in Scene Content
The Label (default or user name) for isolated pad bases and pile caps can now be displayed in a 2D view by choosing the option ‘Text’ in the scene content of ‘Pad Base’ and ‘Pile Cap’. If the pad base or pile cap is rotated, the text label is aligned as per the rotation angle.
