This is a template attribute. Template attributes can be used in filtering, or to retrieve data from the model to use in drawings and reports. For example, when you create a report, Tekla Structures replaces the attributes added in the report template with the corresponding object property values.

The weight of a part. For profiles Tekla Structures calculates the weight using the weight per unit length and weight/m values in the profile catalog. If the weight/m is not defined in the profile catalog, this field works in the same way as WEIGHT_NET, but uses the plate density value (Property weight for plates) from the material catalog instead of profile density.
