Solution

When calculating the RC Raft Foundation, you may find that they receive a Warning message at the end of the calculation stating that 'At least one of the applied corner loads falls beyond the midpoint of the theoretical bearing square'.

The explanation for this is that one or more of the line loads are located beyond the centre line of the bearing pressure square. The dimensions of this are given in the warning message in your calculation output.

As a consequence the line loads with this issue will not add to the hogging moment due to the corner loads being eccentric. As a precaution, the calculation recommends that any such loads are included as edge loads. If this load is a wall load which runs along the edge of the raft then it should already be included as an edge load so would not need to be added again.
