Your Tekla Structures online license is connected to your Trimble Identity, not to a specific computer. You can sign in to your Trimble Identity to use Tekla Structures on any computer, but you can only use it on one computer at a time.

If your Tekla Structures online license seat is reserved on the computer where you are currently using Tekla Structures, you must release your online license seat before you can use Tekla Structures on a different computer.

If you frequently use Tekla Structures on different computers, we recommend that you set the value of the XS_DEFAULT_​KEEP​_ONLINE​_LICENSE​_CHECKBOX advanced option to FALSE so that your online license seat is not automatically kept reserved when you close Tekla Structures.

To use Tekla Structures on a different computer, release your online license seat on the computer where it is currently reserved.

If you use more than one version of Tekla Structures, you must release your subscription or online license seat in all versions where it is reserved.

1. Start Tekla Structures, then open a model.
2. Click your user name, then select Open profile.
3. Click Save on the left side.

   If you do not want to save the model, we recommend that you close Tekla Structures, open the model again, then sign out.

4. Click your user name, then clear the Stay signed in check box.
5. Close Tekla Structures.

You can now start Tekla Structures on a different computer.
