Steel members, concrete members and walls
From the Design tab on the ribbon you can batch design all steel members, cast-in-place concrete members and walls. The necessary analysis is automatically performed as part of the batch design process. As an alternative to batch design, once analysis has been performed you might choose to selectively design parts of the model as required.
- To get to know about batch and selective member and wall design, see: Design steel members and cast-in-place concrete beams, columns and walls
- As part of the design process, drift/sway, seismic drift, and wind drift checks are automatically performed as required. To find out more about these checks, see: Check drift, sway, seismic drift, wind drift, and overall displacements
From the Design tab on the ribbon you can batch design all concrete slabs, slab patches and run all punching shear checks. From the same tab you can also check the response of floors to dynamic excitation. As an alternative to batch slab design, once analysis has been performed you might choose to selectively design or check selected slabs and slab patches as required.
