Reorganize documents within a project

When you create a new project in the Tedds Application, it initially has a flat structure. However, if you want to organize the documents more hierarchically, you can use the Project Manager window to add folders to the currently open project. You can also use it rename folders and documents. For more information, see the following instructions.
  1. To move documents, either:
    • Drag them in the Project Manager window.
    • Use the Move Up or Move Down commands on the Project tab.
  2. To update the document page numbering for the whole project:
    1. Right-click on the project name in the Project Manager window.
    2. From the context menu, select Renumber Document Page Numbers.
The header properties for each document have their Start page no updated automatically so that the page numbering reflects the current document order within the project.
  3. To rename a document:
    1. Use the Rename command on the Project tab.
    2. Enter the new name in the Project Manager window
If the document has been saved, the document file will also be renamed.
  4. To add a folder:
    1. On the Project tab, click Folder.

An empty folder appears within the current project in the Project Manager window.

    2. In the field next to the empty folder, type a name for the folder.
