Modify variables

You may sometimes need to modify the values or units of variables that you have defined. To modify variables, see the following instructions.

Note:

The following only applies to Tedds for Word.

Modify the value of a variable

  1. Consider the following example.

    a = 45 m

  2. Type a new value over the current value of the variable.

    a = 25 m

  3. Calculate the expression.

Modify the units of a variable

  1. Type new units over the current units of the variable.

    a = 25 ft

  2. Calculate the expression.
