The User Assistant is available to users who have a valid commercial named user subscription license.

Chat with the User Assistant in a web browser

You can use the User Assistant in a web browser to get support for Tekla products.

  1. In a web browser, go to Trimble Assistant for Tekla.
  2. If the User Assistant is not already open, select User Assistant from the list of assistants in the toolbar.
  3. Select the product, version, and source language for your question.

Selecting the product and version helps the User Assistant to find the most relevant Tekla User Assistance content. Most Tekla User Assistance content is product-specific and version-specific.

Selecting the source language helps the User Assistant to find Tekla User Assistance content in your language, and content that is most relevant to your region.

Some region-specific Tekla User Assistance content, such as support articles, might not be available in all languages. If the User Assistant cannot find an answer in the selected language, try selecting a different language.

    Tip:

You can ask the User Assistant to translate the response if you prefer a language that is not supported.

  4. Ask your question using natural language.

For a better response, provide context and be specific.

Example: What are the best practices for exporting IFC files from Tekla Structures for BIM collaboration?

The User Assistant generates a response that includes links to the Tekla User Assistance content that it used to answer your question.
