Create a thumbnail for a collection or content item in Tekla Warehouse

Thumbnails help Tekla Warehouse users to find and recognize your content. Thumbnails appear in search results and on the content pages.

For example, you can use your company logo as the thumbnail for your company's collection. This helps Tekla Warehouse users identify the content owner.

Create an image that represents your content.
- The image must have a 4:3 aspect ratio. The recommended sizes are 400x300 pixels or 600x450 pixels.
- The maximum file size is 3 MB.
- The recommended file formats are .webp and .png.
In Tekla Warehouse, upload the thumbnail to your collection or content item.
1. Depending on the thumbnail file type, do one of the following:
  - For images and 3D models, drag the file to the designated area. Or, click Drag files here or browse to upload, then in the dialog that appears, browse for and select the thumbnail file, and click Open.
  - For videos, enter or paste the video's URL in the Upload video from URL box, then click Upload.
  Tip:
  You can upload multiple images and select which image is used as the thumbnail with the Use as thumbnail option.
