View notifications in the Management Console

The Notifications page shows information related to scanning models for malware and important changes to user accounts.

View notifications related to malware scanning

Notifications are shown on the Malware scanning tab when malware scanning has found a potential infection in a model. You can view the details of the model and the email address of the uploader. An email is sent about malware detection to the user who wrote out the model and to the users who have the Owner role for the model. By default, the model is also automatically locked to prevent both read-ins and write-outs.
Note:

Malware scanning is an additional check that does not replace the local scans performed on individual workstations.

  1. To open the Notifications page, click the icon. The icon flashes when there are new notifications.
  2. Go to the Malware scanning tab.

Investigate the model and take required actions. For more information, see Lock models and delete model versions in the Management Console.

View notifications related to user company changes

Notifications are shown on the User company changes tab when:

  • A user has changed their Tekla organization membership but not their email address. This change typically happens when an employee in an enterprise organization moves from one internal organization to another. In this case, the user retains their access rights for Tekla Model Sharing in the previous organization.

The user does not automatically get access to the new organization's shared models. To allow the user to access the new organization's shared models, you must add the user to the shared models. The model owners can also invite the user to the shared models.

  • A user is removed from a Tekla organization. In this case, all access rights that were given to the user when they were in the organization are removed.

  • A user account conflict was resolved. If a user has multiple Trimble Identity accounts that are consolidated to one using the same email address, this case is automatically resolved and reported on the Notifications page.

  1. To open the Notifications page, click the icon. The icon flashes when there are new notifications.
  2. Go to the User company changes tab.
