The Management Console for Tekla Model Sharing provides web-based access for administrators to manage all of their organization's shared models.

To manage shared models in the Management Console for Tekla Model Sharing, you must have a Trimble Identity and an Online Profile profile with administrator rights or with the Tekla Model Sharing Admin role.

In Tekla Model Sharing, an organization owns all the models shared by the users in the organization. A shared model is always owned by only one organization. The organization gets the ownership when a user in the organization starts the sharing of the model. The user who starts sharing the model gets the Owner role in that model, but the Owner role is not the same as the administrator of an organization.

The users who have Online Profile administrator rights or the Tekla Model Sharing Admin role can manage shared models for several organizations. In this case, you must first select the organization where you want to manage models. For more information, see Select the organization in the Management Console.

Managing models in the Management Console does not require using a Tekla Model Sharing license. You can use the Management Console without opening Tekla Structures. You do not need to be a user in any of your organization's shared models.
