For administrators: Upgrade Tekla on-demand license administration tool

Download the Tekla
On-Demand Administration Tool installer from Trimble Downloads.
- Select the correct version and click All downloads.
- Select On-demand license server as the File type and click Apply filter.
- Download the administration tool.
- To open LMTOOLS, go to the installation folder and double-click lmtools.exe.
- On the Stop/Start/Reread tab, click Stop Server to stop the Tekla On-Demand Licensing Service.

Run the installation
package.
By default the software is installed in the C:\Tekla\License\OnDemandServer folder.
During the installation you might see the following message:
Unspecified error occurred while installing/uninstalling FLEXnet Licensing Service or driver. Please contact your local Tekla Structures Support.
You can ignore the message and click OK.
- In the installer wizard, click Finish.
- If there are new licenses, activate them.
- Restrict the license server to accept shutdown commands only from the computer where the license server is running.

Start the Tekla
On-Demand Licensing Service.
- In LMTOOLS, go to the Stop/Start/Reread tab.
- Click Start Server.
