Save your on-premises license entitlement certificate

Before you can activate on-premises licenses, you must save the entitlement certificate.

On-premises licenses are delivered as an entitlement certificate. The entitlement certificate is sent in by e-mail to the person in your organization who ordered the licenses, or to someone named as the contact person.

The entitlement certificate lists the configurations, quantities and activation IDs of your Tekla Structures on-premise licenses.

In your e-mail application, open the e-mail that contains the entitlement certificate.
Download the EntitlementCertificate.html entitlement certificate file .

We recommend that you save the EntitlementCertificate.html entitlement certificate file in the ..\Tekla\License\Server folder. You will need the file again if you later need to move the licenses to a different computer.

If you have licenses in several entitlement files, save the files with unique names to avoid overwriting the files.

Next, activate the on-premises licenses on the license server.
