Manage renewals in Tekla Online

Your Trimble reseller might invite you to manage your contract renewal proposals online before the end of the current contract period. Managing your contact renewal proposals online simplifies the paperwork and allows you and other users to track the contracts in one place.

Only people who have contract manager rights in your organization are allowed to respond to contract renewal proposals. Everyone in your organization who is assigned as a Tekla Online administrator can view the renewals-related information.

After the renewals are processed, you receive a separate bill for the next period.

Note: Contracts are renewed unless you cancel them. If you do not respond to a renewal proposal, you will be billed for the next contract period.
  1. If you do not have a Trimble Identity, find the invitation to activate your Trimble Identity in your email and follow the link to set up your account.

For detailed instructions, see Create your Trimble Identity.

  2. In the Tekla Online Admin Tool, go to the Contracts tab.

Items that require a response are listed in the table with status awaiting response.

  3. Check the renewal details in the table and in the attached PDF document.
  4. Next to the status of each renewal proposal that is awaiting response, click Respond.
  5. Select the action that you want to take.
    • Click Accept to confirm that your organization will renew the contract. A bill will be sent to you after the renewals are processed.
    • Click Contact me if you would like your reseller to contact you to discuss the details of the renewal or to end the contract.
The status of the renewal proposal is updated in the table. To change your response, you can click Change response next to the status as long as the deadline for providing your response has not been reached yet.
